Diana McCartney is the proud owner of this shop. With a passion for the wine industry, she has put together a beautiful place where she gets to share her dream with all of you. As there is much to know about wine, McCartney is learning day by day all of the joys and culture that goes into this captivating and mesmerizing beverage.

The Wine Shop has well over 900 different labels offering wines from Door County, America, and international countries such as Chile, Argentina, and France…just to name a few. The labels you find at this shop are mostly not found at grocery stores. McCartney specifically seeks out wines that are top notch, affordable, and ones that have a great “nose with an amazing back pallet accompanied by a finish to last a lifetime.”

If wine isn’t your fancy, then there are over 100 different labels of beer to choose from. From micro brews to imports, and organics to 120 minute IPA’s you’re sure to find a beer to accommodate.

Madison Avenue Wine Shop is the home of the Door County Olive Oil Company. With close to 30 different flavors of oils as well as an assortment of balsamic vinegars, you will be sure to find the taste of your choice! Every oil will enhance the cuisine you are cooking up for the night or even just to dip bread into. All oils are extra virgin which gives you both the benefits of nutrients for your health as well as great tasting.

Incredible artwork from local artists serves as a wonderful gallery walk as you search for your wine of choice. Emmett Johns, Wence and Sandra Martinez, Tim Nyberg, and Mike, Butch, and Stevi McCartney are some of the artists displaying their work for your enjoyment. To accompany the art there are gifts for the everyday shopper. Planning a party? or a house warming gift? You’ll find great things to coincide with your purchase of wine whether it is a wine rack, tile coasters, glassware, openers, or snacks.

Saturdays feature a wine tastings in the back of the shop at the wine bar. Sitting atop three oak barrels from the California wineries, this wine bar is just the lasting feature of the unique wine shop.
